One of a Kind Terra cotta clay, oxide-stained, metallic wax patina Dimensions: 8” height, 5” width, 4” depth NFS - Collection of Pamela Day One of a Kind got its moniker as a result of being the last piece fired in my old kiln.  The kiln fired with OoaK in it beyond Cone 10 (hotter than 2381F), and then died.  The clay has iron in it, which might look like pepper at cone 10, not freckles as seen on my piece.  She is also vetrified beyond the max for even stoneware clay - so she's a large opaque piece of glass - just short of melting down.  I wish I could get the looks achieved with normal firing - as everyone loves the freckles.
